Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver at the airport. If your flight arrives before 10:00 a.m., you will begin your discovery of the city with a tour including:

Later in the afternoon, transfer to your hotel for check-in and a short rest. Day 2. Fly to Murun city in Khuvsgul Province
This morning, we’ll take a scenic 2-hour flight from Ulaanbaatar to Murun, the capital of Khuvsgul Province. From Murun, our adventure continues with a 200-kilometer drive through the picturesque northern steppes of Mongolia.
On our journey, we’ll pass through Burentogtokh soum and Tsagaan-Uul soum, stopping along the way to soak in the stunning landscapes and perhaps capture some beautiful photos of the untouched countryside.
By late afternoon, we’ll arrive at the serene Khukh Goliin Zoo Mountain, where we’ll set up camp amidst the wide-open fields. As evening falls, we’ll hike up the mountain for breathtaking views of the star-studded sky. Then, gather around a cozy campfire for stories, laughter, and a peaceful night in nature.

Day 3. Renchinlkhumbe soum (County)
We’ll set off at sunrise, heading deeper into the wilderness as we travel 160 kilometers to reach Renchinlkhumbe soum, one of the most remote and culturally rich regions of Khuvsgul Province.
Along the way, we’ll pass through the Bayanzurkh district, home to the Darkhad people, a unique ethnic group with deep-rooted traditions and a strong connection to Mongolia’s northern landscapes.
Our scenic drive will include stops at:

Boshloi Rock – a dramatic natural formation offering sweeping views.

Ushir Waterfall – a peaceful retreat surrounded by forest and flowing water.

Shaman 13 Ovoo – a sacred site along the Delgermurun River basin, known for its spiritual significance in Mongolian shamanism.
By late afternoon, we’ll arrive at the “Taiga” Tourist Camp, where we’ll settle in and enjoy a quiet evening amidst the untouched beauty of the Darkhad Valley.

Day 4. Free day in Renchinlkhumbe soum (County)

Day 5. Horseback Riding

In the evening, we’ll climb a scenic spot to gaze at the star-filled sky, then gather around a campfire for a relaxed and cozy night in nature.

Day 8. Khuvsgul Lake
Today, we travel 60 kilometers from the Khoridol Saridag Mountains to the breathtaking shores of Khuvsgul Lake, Mongolia’s “Blue Pearl.” Upon arrival, we’ll check in at a lakeside tourist camp, where you’ll have the afternoon free to relax, unwind, and take in the crystal-clear beauty of the lake.

Day 9. Free Day in Khuvsgul Lake

Day 10. Fly back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, we’ll drive 130 kilometers on a paved road to Murun city. From there, we board a 2-hour domestic flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the hotel for a well-earned rest in the capital.

Day 11. Terelj National Park
Our final full day begins with a visit to the Tsonjinboldog Chinggis Khan Statue Complex, located 55 kilometers east of Ulaanbaatar. From there, we continue to the stunning Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, where you’ll enjoy an invigorating horseback ride through dramatic rock formations and peaceful meadows.
In the evening, we’ll return to Ulaanbaatar for a captivating performance by the renowned Tumen-Ekh Folk Ensemble or similar, showcasing Mongolia’s rich musical and dance traditions.
