Tour Plan
Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Welcome to Mongolia! After customs and immigration, our team will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we’ll start exploring Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. We’ll drive up to Zaisan Memorial for a great view over the city, the Tuul River and the surrounding hills. Then we’ll visit Gandantegchinlen Monastery, one of Mongolia’s most important Buddhist monasteries, followed by Sukhbaatar Square, the main square in the centre of the city, with the Parliament House nearby. Along the way, your guide will share some stories about Mongolia, its history and everyday life.
After lunch, we will check in at the hotel and leave you some time to rest. At 17:00, we will attend a traditional Mongolian folklore performance, with music, singing, dancing and traditional costumes. It is a nice way to get your first taste of Mongolian culture.
After the show, we will have dinner at a restaurant near the hotel and then return to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 2. Ulaanbaatar to Tsagaan Suvarga (The White Stupa)
Welcome to the start of an unforgettable expedition. Leaving the capital city behind, you will watch the lush green Mongolian steppe gradually transform into the vast, open semi-desert plains of the Middle Gobi.
- The Drive: ~450–500 km (approx. 7–8 hours). The initial drive is on paved highway, transitioning into rugged, unpaved desert tracks.
- The Highlight: Arriving at Tsagaan Suvarga. Millions of years ago, this area was an ancient seabed. Today, it features striking 60-meter-high limestone cliffs boasting brilliant bands of pink, red, and orange sediment that look remarkably like the ruins of an ancient city.
- Evening: Walk along the cliff ridges for an incredible sunset panoramic view before settling into your traditional ger camp.
